What is FutureCapsule?

FutureCapsule is an international long-term research initiative collecting structured perspectives from

students worldwide.

The project explores how students:

  • perceive today’s world

  • imagine the future

  • evaluate technological and social change

  • think about AI and global developments

The goal is to build a global longitudinal

dataset documenting how generational

perspectives evolve over time.

FutureCapsule is an independent global research initiative studying how generations perceive the future over time.

Participants complete a short structured

questionnaire covering:

  • future expectations

  • optimism and uncertainty

  • AI and technology

  • societal concerns

  • expected global change

Submissions remain private by default. Public use only occurs with explicit consent.

Participants confirm they own the rights to their content and agree to long-term archival storage.
